Once again, my PC is having problems on Yahoo Mail, and I can't remember what to do to 'clear the cache' or whatever it's called. Yahoo refuses to delete even the simplest single emails, and when I try to send an email, it does not send it. Often, the simplest request (like to go to another list of emails) kicks me out of Yahoo mail.

Remember, I'm a troglydyte with computers. What do I do without losing things like the passwords to all my websites? Thank you.

Cannot help but I do have another question in this context.

I use a paid Yahoo Mail account and have messages forwarded (as suggested by Yahoo) and replied to within Outlook Express

as the client mail.

Everything runs perfectly, but once I delete the messages in Outlook Express, these are not going to be deleted on the

Yahoo server. In Outlook Expresse the boxes for messages once deleted to be removed from the server are checked. What else

needs to be checked?

I fear it is a problem in Yahoo.Had the same kind of problem as you Peaceblondie.Disapeared one day after one or 2 weeks...

I still could access my mails via Outlook express which continued to work fine during the problem periods

Alternatively Yahoomail is OK sometimes but cannot access via Outlook express...

Only thing to do:advise Yahoo ...by mail :o (sorry could not resist) if you have an other email account.

Not an answer, but a point to note. Yahoo mail beta uses a large set of processes {noting the OP's original comment}, one option is to switch back to the standard version, this is more reliable where network connectivity is problematic, e.g. bl***y Thailand. This may not solve the issue but may make usage easier.
