Can anyone advise me please?

I live in Thailand with my Thai wife, we have been married for nearly 2 years and we were married in the UK. We are planning to visit my family in the UK in July next year when i have to re-apply for my 'O' visa.

I have downloaded a document (APPLICATION FOR SPOUSE OF BRITISH CITIZEN (BASED IN THAILAND) GOING TO UK FOR A VISIT) it states on item 6 that a Marriage certificate (if in a foreign language other than Thai, a certified copy is required) does this mean i need to have it translated into Thai language or how and where do i have it certified, surely a marriage certificate is a legal document so why have it certified?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks Carl
