November 9, 200718 yr Hi, My wife is filing the I-130 for her Mother to move to the United States. I was hoping for some good advise, so we can make sure we don't have any problems. We have everything they are asking for on the form. Everything that has been written in Thai has been translated into English. I was hoping someone might have some last minute advise or a suggestion to speed up the process. Anyone have a rough idea on how long it takes on this type of visa? I-130 Petition for Alien Relative any experiences or advise will be helpful. Thanks *j*

Then they need to ponder on it, and hopefully not request any additional documentation. It also depends on where you file, which CIS office, some are backlogged more than others. Wander through their www site for additional info: www.uscis.gov Mac

The funny thing is, my Sister in Law said their Mother has already packed and is ready to go....lol. Take care all, Thanks Mac. *j*
