With help from you all before my wife got her 2 year spouse visa

vailid from 01/03/06 to 01/03/08.

The arrival stamp to the UK is dated 31/03/06.

As there are no ESOL courses with citizenship available we will have to extend

for FLR.

What is the best date to submit the application. After reading the "400 pounds

for a month" we dont want to make any mistakes.

I still maintain that your wife could apply for her extension of her current status at any point. However, proceeding on the basis that you want to avoid any possible hiccoughs, she should apply for the extension once she has been in the UK for 23 months and her original visa has 28 days or less left to run. She's therefore cutting it very fine as she will have been in the UK 23 months on 29 February 2008 and will therefore have a two-day window in which to apply; i.e. 29 Feb or 1 Mar.
