10 injures in department store fire in Nakhon Sawan

Nakhon Sawan - A fire broke out at a department store here, causing panic among shoppers. About ten people fainted after inhaling smoke.

Police said the fire broke out on the foods center on the fifth floor of Fairy Land Department Store at 1 pm.

Shoppers became panic and ran for life and many tried to remove their vehicles, leading to congestion at the car park.

However, fire fighters put out the fire about half an hour later.

Police said about 10 shoppers and store clerks fainted after inhaling smoke. They were rescued and brought out of the store for first aid.
