Visit Pantip IT plaza in BKK. 5 floors of gadgets and 'moody' DVD/software !!!!

Without knowing the equipment you are using, I think its hard for anyone to answer your question. I visited Pantip re Garmin GPRS and was told phone E.S.R.I. on 02-6368421 who can provide software (I suspect a Thai speaker should phone them?)

Hope this helps

Dave

I bought mine from a GPS mapping community. I have all of Thailand on my Garmin Quest. They work very well with mapsource. You need to donate to get access so you have to pay for them. I did and I am very happy indeed.

All for $100 around 3400 Baht Instead of 13000 very good indeed.

Once you join its lifetime mebership. I took only Thailand initially but I am so pleased I am downloading Laos Vietman Cambodia and others for free. I have no connection with this site other than I think everybody should know about it!

Has anyone tried the "City Navigator Thailand NT" mapSource map available directly from Garmin on an SD card?

It's listed on their website with a price of $119US, which seems reasonable.

According to the coverage map on their webpage, the entire country is covered, as opposed to just major cities (as the name of the map implies).
