9 Bangkok Fight Club’ fighters took on 9 fighters strong Russian team . BFC won 3 fights and lost 6

It was great event. and we had greatest time in Russia! We will get the footage of the show from the organizers within 2 weeks. Planning to find a place ( pub or a bar) in Bangkok and get all the guys ( fighters and friends , guys training at the BFC ) together , drink some beers and watch it on the big screen . I will keep you posted on where and when !

Congratulations, I hear Yoshi won his fight but havent talked to him since you guys got back. Will you be posting the fights on Youtube or your website? PM sent.

Yoshi had a very entertaining fight. he won a decision victory after the extra round against Russian guy.

In general Russian team was better prepared and had higher caliber of fighters. of course they had a lot of pride and a lot to loose -the Governor's Cup was at stake ( 4 kg of solid sterling silver) and they fought hard to not to let us take the prized trophy to Thailand.

there were some good well rounded fighters on Russian team , Russians favored boxing and sambo leg locks . they won 2 fights with leglock submissions

the organizers treated us very very well ! nice hotel , all the meals , we were shown around , they threw for us great after-party with exotic dancers ( read: strippers ) and so much food and liquor that I had great time just watching some of our team being drunk and funny. and there were night clubs , we met some interesting people including girls ... on whom I am not elaborating on this forum :-)
