Hello,

Ik arrived the 17th of august in thailand on a triple entry tourist visa, second entry,

I want to extend it with 30 days.

Is it a problem if I do this now, because I'm only 4 days in the los, because I'm going to koh tao and don't ant to go to samui for 1 day.

I'm now in B'kk and think it is easier to do it here.

thanx

If i understand you correctly you currently have 60 days running from the 17th of August.......my experience has been that if you extend by 30 days the extension will run from when you apply.......i.e it would be a waste of time in your situation as you already have this period covered by your present 60 days. However i seem to remember 1 member of Thaivisa who applied for the 30 day extension early and it ran from the end of his 60 day stamp rather than from when he applied for it..............this is not my experience however!

For the 60 days visa, you get the 30 days extension from when your 60 days expire. For the 30 days on-arrival, you get a 7 days extension from when you apply for it.
