Where In Bkk/bangna To Have Us Visa Photo Made

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm putting together the first piece of a USA K1 visa application (the I-129F) for a Thai person.

I'm currently in the USA, the Thai person is in Thailand.

I need the person's photos for the visa, but twice now the person has emailed me digital photos that would not suffice for a US visa, and even if they would, I don't have the ability to print them out (first photo came completely airbrushed with a blue background -- whitened, unblemished skin and all, second photo had also been altered, though less -- digital removal of earrings and whitened background).

I would like to be able to instruct the person along the following lines:

1) go to "this" store

2) tell them you need printed photos for a US Visa

3) mail the photos to me at this address

The problem is in "step 1:" I don't know where to tell the person to go...

Can anybody recommend a specific store where I can instruct this person to have the photos taken. I need not only the store's name and approximate location, but the store's exact address. Phone number would be helpful too.

The person who makes the photos in the store will need to know exactly what is required for the US Visa, because the Thai person in the photos will not be able to judge whether the photos are acceptable.

Bangna area is preferable, but if the store is in an easy-to-reach and easy-to-describe location elsewhere in BKK, that works too.

Thank you

There are all sorts of shops setup around Wireless Road and the BTS for doing pictures and visas. I would think that any of these could produce a picture that would be fine.

I would think so too and have actually had visa photos for myself taken there, which is why my "round 2" instructions were to go to the Ploenchit BTS stop and look (on the southeast corner of Sukhumvit and Vitthayu -- aka wireless) for a store that advertises photo service for US visas, have the photos made there, and mail them to me.

That didn't work... which is why I'm asking for anybody on the ground in BKK who's been to a specific place to help me out and send me the name & address & phone number of the place.

I'm going to send a "round 3" of instructions, and I'd like this to be the final round, so the instructions are going to be extremely specific.

Thanks
