Downloading Torrent Files

Featured Replies

I'm trying to download a 483 MB torrent file called Cambridge English in Use ESL Textbooks megapack from the following website:

http://www.isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=English+ESL+Textbooks

I'm using Bit Torrent but for some reason cannot open the files create on my computer with Adobe PDF reader.

The files have the extension .pdf.bc

What does the .pc stand for?

The message I'm getting is 'adobe reader cannot open the file because it is not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged."

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

.bc is meaning Bittorrent Client and is the file which caries the info of the file and the tracker.

What BiTorrent Client you use?

Could it be that the file has not yet finished downloading ?? some torrent programs add an extension to show whether it has finished...... when it has it normally removes that extension automatically

I have downloaded the file you are talking about and it is a zip file......... maybe try opening it with winrar or winzip first

Hope this helps
