yigocheng Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Hello everyone here, I am a Chinese college student in Xiamen University majoring in Economical information management. But I am always fancinated by Thailand, I've met some people from Thailand studying Chinese here in our University, they said there are a lot of people learning Chinese in Thailand; and a lot of them are coming to China to study. Our university has a programme sending volunteers to Thailand teaching Chinese, but as a matter of my major, I failed to apply. I am just wondering if there's any chance for me to teach Chinese in Thailand. Is there a lot of language training centers need any Chinese teachers? Like English here everywhere in China. What kind of qualifications should I have? Hope I can get some suggestions here. Many tks. My email is: [email protected] Yigo p.s. If anyone needs information about studying Chinese in Xiamen University or need help from China, pls feel free to contact me. I would like to help.
mbkudu Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 The Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok can probably help you. It's at the Thai CC Tower on Sathorn Road. phone: 0226758574. A friend of mine told me that they are affiliated with an institute here in Bangkok that offers teacher training for Chinese teachers as well.
