New Star Beach Resort

Have tried some other Samui forums for a possible review without success, so am wondering if any locals can give me some info about this resort please? Is it finished yet and what is the accommodation like, especially the Palm Rooms or Palm Cottages? I read that it is an old resort that has been done up. Or has the old one been completed pulled down?

I live nearby Samui New Star and I can follow the progress in the restauration day by day. I belive all the construction will be finished by Cristmas. The old concrete buildings are pulled down and instead they have buildt new ones.

Personal I will prefere the Ocean View Cottage. They are made of beautiful wood inside and outside, and I think the bathroom are made bigger. Some friend of mine stayed the 2 years ago, and they loved it. If you prefere to stay, there take this advice.;

The Spa and massage are very, very expensive. Walk the beach and you will find the same offer for 1/4 of the cost at New Star.

Hope you will have a pleacent stay.
