An Indian movie set to release in January 2008 - Romantic comedy about an indian thief who falls for a Thai bar girl. Jokes mostly revolve around language/cultural differences.

It was supposed to be released on 14th Dec, but now postponed to 11th January 2008

Bombay to Bangkok is a story of Shankar (Shreyas Talpade), a petty thief somehow reaches Bangkok. In Bangkok, he faces the omnipresent problem. He meets the girl of his dreams but she is all Thai and he can't converse with her at all!

Well, what follows is a potpourri of fun, adventure, cross- cultural dilemma and of course India Thai romance. Although the film is a Hindi movie, it remains to be seen if it can be dubbed into Thai at some latter stage. This might well be the beginning of Indian movies being appreciated by Thais.
