Twice now, I've seen this model of honda and i really like the looks, size [lower than most off road hondas]. It had small diameter, but large baloon tires that looked good for traction and smooth ride with a momo shock and a teardrop gas tank, but the thing i liked the most about it was that it fit me [5'7"] easily and the balance looked good. The model i saw was one of those reassembled japaneese models and could have been modified in the transition, but unfortunately hade no license plates. maybe 5 yrs old and reminded me of an old favorite honda model i once owned called the XL, but newer and with disc brakes and electric start.

does anyone know the model i'm talking about??? and what would they be priced at??

Hmm, sounds intriguing. Anyone got a photo? I've often thought a decent 250cc + trail bike would be the business as a local bike, especially up here in the sticks. Wouldn't fancy off-road tyres in the rainy season though.

I can't tell an SR500 from an SR400. We have several in Chiang Mai; one passed me by tonight. Not sure if they're in production. The one I saw standing still had no rego plate; neither did the moving one tonight.

Nice looking ride, haven't seen any up here in CM. like the size, low profile, looks like it handles well and enough power, higher handle bars. Where can i get one [with registration/plates]??

do they make a smaller version, like a 250cc??
