My Thai American Daughter has been invited to go to Italy to visit my exwife (we remained good friends) and her family for a couple of months. Due to work comittments I will not be able to go and rather than turneing my daughter over to an airline hostess, will be sending her to Italy in the company of a dear Italian friend that lives in the same general area and just happens to be going home at that time. Then after the holiday my daughter will retutn to Thailand with my exwife.

My Thai wife is OK with the trip and I wanted to ask what special documentation should we prepare to make my Italian friends escort duties as easy as possible. A letter in Thai and English saying that we are allowing him to escort our daughter to said address etc. What do you think? What would the Italians require?
