Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have been looking for an online calorie counter in Thai. It would make things much easier for my wife (and myself!!)

Does anyone know of any?

Thanks,

Eric and Pan

Hi Eric,

I know of quite a few calorie counters but none are in Thai.

But I know how you can build one for free, the folks at http://caloriecount.about.com would most likely give you the code so you could translate the text to Thai. They are an open source community and always welcome fresh input. :o

Contact them I would like to know what they say.

PS I will even help you, I have plenty of html coding experience and have my degrees in IT. :D

I'm afraid I wouldn't know where to begin my request. Words like "code" and "html" are completely foreign to me. I fear I would not have a clue what to do with anything they supplied, unless it was a "for dummies" version :o

I would certainly welcome the help though, and a completed version, geared to the Thai palate, could have some commercial possibilities .......as waistlines are growing in the kingdom.

I have a friend in the heath/fitness business in Bangkok.....perhaps something is brewing here?

PM me if you'd like to look in to it.

It can be done but geared to the Thai palate will be more than just a challenge.

I have already ask caloriecount.about.com for information and assistance. We will see how they respond in the next week or so.

Sam
