Needles In Checked Luggage

Featured Replies

Does anyone know about the regulation flying from BKK to UK with regards to hypodermic syringes and needles in checked luggage. The missus has some that are in a skincare kit where they draw fluid from an ampule and mix it with cream before applying to the skin, she wants to take it to UK in her checked baggage. Is this allowed? Just don't want any aggravation when the bag is X-Rayed. Cheers.

Not only do I travel with syringes and needles in my checked bags, I travel with one in my carry-on as well for insulin. To answer your question, it won't be a problem in the checked luggage.

Ditto - I've travelled all over the world with needles in my carry on and I have yet to be questioned. Then again, I don't look like I would be using them for questionable purposes :o
