January 30, 200818 yr Would anyone happen to know where I can buy Rock Sulphur.Thankyou There are two chemical supply houses on Suthep Road, just south of Neimanheimen Road. Both have powdered sulpher that I've 'seen' and either have what you want or can order it for you. There is another chemical supply house on the north side of the old city facing the moat about midway between the corners.
January 30, 200818 yr Small hardware stores sometimes have sulfur as it is an ingredient in gunpowder. You can get all the ingredients for gunpowder and also barrels for black powder long guns at some small hardware stores. Chownah

You can get all the ingredients for gunpowder and also barrels for black powder long guns at some small hardware stores.Chownah during a visit to vietnam i saw shops selling rifles (shotguns?). in the states i would not have given it a second thought but it surprised me in vietnam. so this bit of news about buying black powder and the parts for a gun at local hardware stores also surprises me. not sure why. just does.
