Best beach and best place with swimming pool under 5000 Baht during Songkran on Koh Chang in Trat. Any recommendations? Also, is it easy to get to???

Find out first what's available as I guess most of the popular places on good beaches will already be fully booked for Songkran. Last year the island was pakced for the holiday,cars everywhere.

It will be packed.......but it's easy to get to.

from Pattaya or Bkk there are innumerable companies running bus/minibus services....4 hours from Pattaya so about 5.5 from Bkk.

you could hire a bus and driver or a taxi ior hire a car..the drive is quite pleasant.

There are public bus services and Bangkok Air fly to Trat...well actually it's about 20 min from the KC ferry.

Check the availablity of hotels that you like the look of. It'll be a matter of taking what's available rather than having a huge choice. Also depends on which area of the island you want to be on.
