les Posted July 17, 2003 Share Posted July 17, 2003 I am presently on board a oil rig working and am soon to return home on leave, I am looking for somewhere really romantic and spectacular to take my wife for our anniversary I seem to have been almost everywhere in Chaing Mai. South Posted July 20, 2003 Share Posted July 20, 2003 ... just an idea The Andaman Club ! A nice hotel situated on it's own island just off Ranong on the southwest coast. Nothing there except the hotels amenities (swimming pool, restaurants, golf course , casino etc etc). It is situated in a romantic spot overlooking both the mainland of Thailand and Burma as well as the other islands in the vicinity. Be ok for a few days at least ! having said that , you're more than likely pee'd off with looking at the sea so forget it !!
