Thai Ex-wife

Featured Replies

I got divorced but my ex-wife still has a UK visa enabling her to pop into the Uk and work as a chef whenever she pleases.

I think this is unfair as we're now divorced.

Can I get her visa revoked?

I take it it was a messy break up? is there realy that much bad blood you want to stop her earning a living?

Pat just think of the good times you had and let her enjoy being able to travel to the UK.

I don't think it can be revoked just because you dont like her!!!!!! If she did anything illegal then I think they would cancel the visa. Think yourself lucky, if you han an English wife, no vias to expire!!!!!!

I knew there was a good reason for living in the LoS!!!!!!!!!!!

You do have a point, it was just a thought.

If she has indefinite leave to enter/remain, i.e. there is no limit upon how long she can stay in the UK, then this cannot be revoked on the basis that your marriage has broken up. It can be revoked if it was obtained by deception, either verbal or documentary or if she commits a serious criminal offence.

If your ex-wife is still serving her probationary 2 years then she will not get this extended and will then be required to leave the UK.

Scouse.

Average cook.

I think I'll just leave it and let her be, I can't be bothered dealing with the Home office.
