Cataract Surgery

Featured Replies

I have read old posts and was wondering if anyone had a recent experience. On phoning around cateract surgery is ,surprisingly, quite expensive in Bangkok and there is ,on most occasions , a 2 tier pricing system. Cheapest quote is around 30,000 baht per eye and price in Aus is 20,000 baht.Normally for most medical procedures you find that Thailand is far cheaper. Any experiences would be appreciated

My neighbor recently had both eyes done at the government hospital in Sricha .(outside Pattata area towards Chonburi )It was 20,000 an eye & he can see great for the 1st time in years.I think the name of the hospital was suyivet. I might be wrong on the name . PM me if interested I posted as the internet went down & My girl knows the name of the hospital.

Ba prepared for a long que to get in!

And way more expensive in Pattaya compared to Sricha
