Just a quick question in regards to my thai g/f.

I was previously married to a Thai lady, but recently divorced. She lived in the UK for 1 year on a settlement Visa. My new girlfriend previously lived in Belgium with her ex boyfriend on a 6 month Schengen Holiday visa.

Will the fact that my name was on my ex wifes previous visa application, or the fact that she has previously had a schengen visa affect any future visa application we may make for her to settle in the UK once we are married later this year?

That you have previously been married to a Thai and that your wife-to-be had a Western boyfriend will perhaps be of relevance to a subsequent UK visa application. As part of a settlement visa application it has to be demonstrated that the parties intend to live together permanently, and that you have both had relationships recently break down may be a factor in the visa officer's consideration of this.
