Re-entry Permit Counter, Bangkok Airport

Does anyone know what time the re-entry permit counter opens at Bangkok airport ? I am flying out on an 8-00 flight in the morning, so i doubt it's open then !

It is always open but remember you have to have your boarding card first so check in early if doing at airport.

The clerk sleeps in the booth, on a cot, with the lights off. If you show up at 5:00 am,you may need to bang on the window to wake him up. Once awoken, he may disappear for 20 minutes to take care of personal hygiene.

Safer to visit a real office and get the Re-entry permit before you head to the airport.

Building 1, 3rd floor. Takes about 30 minutes.

That's why I don't do it at the airport. You have to run back and forth and once you have the re-entry they would not let you through in the wrong terminal.

thnx AXEL. I've seen the one in Ter. 1, and was correct to assume that there wasn't any in Ter. 2.

A mate has mentioned that the re-entry permit might be available at ratchada. Any ideas??? If so, where exactly is the office?
