Is 3 Months 3 Months Or 90 Days?

Featured Replies

My TGF has just been issued a 3 month tourist visa to come to stay with me in Aus, but were not sure what day to book the return ticket for. Shes entering on 11th march....does this entitle her to stay until the 11th of June (or leave before 11th of June...ie the 10th of June) OR is it 90 DAYS because some months have obviouslly 31 days? appreciate any advice...wanna get the maximum we can outta this visa :o

I also understand that when they stamp in the passport..they specify a return date....but I want to book a return ticket now before she comes... cheers.

CYA ring Immigration.

3 calender months....if she enters on the 11 March 2008....she must depart by the end of the day 10th June 2008.

Be safe and book the return ticket a couple of days before the 10th....That way there is no problem.
