Nightlife Crackdown In Bangkok ?

Featured Replies

This weekend, bars and clubs all over Bangkok has been closed down either 1am or 2am. All Sukhumvit bars closed at 1am. Even all after hours clubs are shut down!

Does someone know what is going on? How long is this gonna last? Is this going to be a permanent Crackdown ??

:o

as far is I know it was only Fri night ... not much of a 'crackdown'

Well to be fair, they are only enforcing the law. It'll last a while this time I would have thought, but they'll always be some after hours place for a drink.

There is a thread on this in the Bangkok forum.

For the record, midnight shutdown in Molly Malones last night.

Want to drink late - need to go off the beaten path. The obvious places will be targeted always. :o
