Working Visa For Thai Gf In Oz

Featured Replies

Hi all. This forum has been so helpful and full of great advice that I wanted to give something back. I find the most useful posts are people's own reports on their experiences in different situations. I will attempt to do the same here for a Working Holiday Visa application, and welcome any advice along the way.

I have a thai GF who wants to come and live with me in OZ. We have the excellent working visa scheme, and this seems the most direct and easiest route.

She is 26, university educated with a BA and has travelled to the states before on her own. She does not have enough money to cover the initial travel expenses, but should be able to pay me back on that score pretty quickly once in OZ.

We have around 5 weeks before the planned leaving date, so I'm thinking a Working Holiday visa as the first shot, and if rejected try a normal 3 month tourist visa and go for the working holiday again once in OZ.

Any holes you guys can see so far?

Lemme know. Cheers :o

You want your GF to pay you back........ :D

There are holes in your plan...

If refused the first visa....it is unlikely that a tourist visa would be granted...

I dont believe that she would get a working holiday visa while here on a tourist visa.

Are you sure this is not wind up.... :o
