From what I have heard you can pick up a lifetime membership for around 30 grand. As with purchasing anything with an ongoing agreement (especially in Thailand) I am concerned about getting stiffed. Change of ownership/name or even closing the company (anything could happen) completely nulls a membership.

Anyone have a long term membership to California?

You are absolutely on the mark there. Consider that an investment, with your above statement, do you feel good about this investment...............I'd say no.

In Oz they like people to sign up for 24 months. I am one who doesnt't like this idea. 12 months? Maybe. But not anymore. Where will you be in 2 years? i dont know. So i don't/wont sign up for more than a year. Lifetime? fuc_k that!!
