Why was that critical post this morning about removal and closure of so many topics removed?

I thought this was an open forum and the OP said nothing that was in conflict with the forum rules.

Or is there a new rule that sais this is not an open forum anymore and therefore not a forum at all!

Read the forum rules:

5) Discussion of moderation issues, actions or moderation policies concerning individual cases are not allowed in the forums. Such comments should be directed to a moderator or administrator, and not discussed on the forum.

the op has been contacted privately, we do not need to pander to people who 1) cannot understand the rules 2) like to make issues of things that aren't there.

The op's issues over closed topics were actually very clearly explained within those topics & we, as moderators, move topics when we feel they will be better served & answered in a different part of the forum. Neither are any real problem or an indication that the forum isn't open. When people have nothing interesting or helpful to add & just like to start topics critising things that need/deserve no critism, then they do not get a voice here.

The op of the removed topic has been advised to contact a mod directly via pm in future if any issue of the moderation of thaivisa needs to be raised. I suggest you do the same.
