Hi folks. My friend is coming in for a quick visit and we want to go over to Ho Chi Minh City, in Vietnam. We are both Americans. Can we get visas on arrival or do we need to get them ahead of time. If so, where can we do it. I am assuming Bangkok should provide some solution if necessary.

You have to obtain a visa beforehand. This can be done in the States by mail
