Electric Vehicles in Thailand
I test drove one, it wasn’t the fast one, and I found it underwhelming. I think the fast one would be a lot of fun. -

Thai - Cambodia Conflict US Again Urges Thailand to De-escalate Border Conflict with Cambodia
And far more recently, in Aberdeenshire, he conducted an open and frank conversation with the media that touched on the far more serious issues that are affecting geopolitical stability where it matters: Ukraine and Gaza. Some here must be absolutely gutted that this rather parochial, cross-border bun fight never got on his fight card. -

USA Trump Tightens Ceasefire Deadline as Putin Continues Attacks
video screenshot President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin, demanding an urgent ceasefire in Ukraine. Visiting the UK, Trump expressed disappointment with Putin following Russia's latest wave of drone and missile strikes on Ukraine. The president has now shortened the ceasefire deadline from 50 days to just 10 or 12 days, threatening more severe sanctions and tariffs if Russia fails to comply. In the early hours of Monday, Poland and NATO scrambled aircraft in response to a significant Russian assault. Hundreds of drones and missiles targeted various locations in Ukraine, prompting heightened readiness among Polish and allied forces. The attack lasted for about three hours, during which most drones and missiles were intercepted or neutralised; however, several still managed to strike their targets. A drone crossing from Belarus into Lithuania highlighted growing regional tensions. Lithuanian officials confirmed the incident as part of Russia’s strategy of using Belarusian airspace for northern attacks on Ukraine. A search for the drone remains ongoing, underscoring the persistent threat faced by countries bordering the conflict. In Kyiv, a Russian drone hit a residential building, injuring at least eight people as Ukrainian forces worked to strengthen their air defences. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attacks and reiterated the need for sanctions and strengthened defensive measures against Russia. NATO’s response to the incursion is seen as a test of the alliance’s resolve, with drones probing into Baltic airspace. Zelenskyy emphasised the continuous efforts to enhance Ukraine's air shield, expressing the importance of international cooperation to fill funding gaps for drone production. As restoration efforts continue, particularly in restoring electricity supplies, the Ukrainian leadership remains focused on securing additional support from global partners. Russia's Defence Ministry claimed its forces downed seven Ukrainian drones, highlighting the ongoing aerial contest over Ukrainian skies. The situation remains tense as the international community watches closely, awaiting Russia's response to Trump's newly imposed deadline. Adapted by ASEAN Now from ABC News 2025-07-29
