My Thai friend is going to open a company in China.

The China government requires a document of notarization of the Thai passport.

But the problem now is, we are not going back to Thailand in the near future.

Is it possible to get a notarization document inside China?

Are there any Thai nationals here who have opened a company in China before?

Thanks!!

I have finished the notarization and accreditation, you can do it even if you are not in Thailand, but you have to send your passport and ID card back to Thailand, the Thai Consulates or Embassies around the world CANNOT HELP. The Thai Embassy can only notarize your passport/ID, but this document cannot be accredited in China, so you will have to send everything to Thailand.

We were very lucky that one of our Thai friends know how to do everything, so we only have to spend 4 days to get all the documents,

fee: THB 400 (same day service, great!) for the Thai passport notarization, paid at Foreign Ministry of Thailand.

+ THB 1500 for the accreditation of the relevant documents in the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok, next day service.

You will need a few pieces of "Power of Attorney" for the Thai Foreign Ministry and Chinese Embassy.

It was a headache, it is very difficult for an untrained person to get all these documents, better consult a lawyer firm for the procedure.

Sunbelt (lots of ads on this website) says they can help you to arrange everything for around THB 7000. At the very beginning I wanted to contact them for help, but they just quoted me a price and they didn't answer any of my further emails, so I asked my Thai friend to help me instead.
