Hi

i like to teach english in thailand.

i like to know about the tefl courses

are they any good and if they keep there promises about a job guaranteen.

The TEFL courses are as good as the schools that run them and as good as the instructors that teach them. I had an excellent TEFL instructor and the course prepared me well for a teaching job. The school was able to assist with visa issues. However, no school can "guarantee" a job. I got very little job search assistance from a school that also made a job guartantee. The market is such, that if you are a native English speaker, and look presentable, you can get hired somewhere. I went to 9 job interviews just before completing the course, and had 8 job offers. I took two of them, hated them both, but one month later, landed a great job by word of mouth. Finding a suitable job is a journey, and an obstacle course.

Hi, Niko. You're clearly not a native or fluent speaker, and I'd recommend against your teaching English in Thailand. However, if you're set on it, good luck. I don't know about the business practices of TEFL courses; you may wish to check on their business credentials and if there are any complaints against them filed with whatever business registry is appropriate (if they are legitimate concerns, they should probably answer your questions about their business licensing numbers and so forth). Anyway, we won't be discussing their marketing practices on this thread. If there's anything else you have to ask, please don't hesitate!
