Ask one of the Katoey's they might do it for you

Take a plastic scoop and a 'pha khao ma' and voila, you can shower direct from the lake and the locals will admire your Thainess for showering in line with local customs.

You have to be a member, but I beleive that the membership is no more than 40baht a year for Thai or residents as it is supported by the city.

next time you are walking, look down the drains. They like sleeping down there too.
