Stuart McGill has denied he was asked to retire after turning up late for one of the days play in the 2nd test against the Windies.

But Oz got the desired result either way.

Why did he have such a good record in tests? Because he was only ever selected for turning, spin friendly pitches, and he always had absolute quality up the other end, such as Warne or McGrath.

Now that he's had to play on all surfaces his weaknesses have been revealed. Time to get out before that average goes as high as the price of oil.
