Went to Kad Farang today out on Hang Dong road. There's a shop right in the middle of it with beautiful antiques. Lots of Khmer style, lots of Buddhas, easily recognisable very large pieces. Many of them had tags. I looked at a few of these. Some were marked: "17th century, Post-Bayon, 3.5 M", "16th century Post-Bayon 1.2 M". Are they kidding? Has anyone else seen them?

Hi,

I live over there and I saw the place build up. It's quit funny they give these remarks to what they call antiques. Maybe some of them are a bit old, but not antique at all. Most of the furniture are re-makes from China. If you interested to buy,

you should better have a trip to China and buy over there. At least if you want to spent total money like this for a piece

of 'antique'

I totaly agree with "Eurothai" overpriced.

If your into that sort of stuff.

I am sure it's to be found but you will have to look around and compare prices.

Have seen the stuff at Kad Farang and it looks like thay are a bit on the top side
