Since I posted in another topic that I have lost 45 pounds over the last nine months, I've received a couple of PM's asking me for details. I thought I'd just go ahead and throw this out to the group. Toward the end of July 07 I was participating in a forum on kettlebell training when I followed a link to Mark Sisson's blog - Mark's Daily Apple. If you followed marathoning and triathlon a couple decades ago, the name may be familiar. Mark was a national level marathoner, and once finished fourth in the Ironman Triathlon. The following post on his plug does a good job of summarizing his views, and it's the basis of the program I've followed for the past nine months:

I've gone from 243 to 197 and I'm working on getting the last 10 or so pounds off. I recently made a trip to a clothing donation station to get rid of all my size 44, 42, & 40 pants and shorts. The 38's are next to go!! :o
