June 14, 200817 yr I believe the steam engine dramatically increased the output of factories,& in turn dramatically changed everybodies lives for the better....at that time. Maybe the steam engine led to printing on a large scale,which helped the spread of knowledge? Maybe infection fighting medicines significantly increased peoples life spans,& helped lessen suffering.

The wheels were made of wood and were very heavy. They were used both for transport and on early chariots.
