Going To Singapore For My New Non B

Featured Replies

Hi

I have just changed offices with my company, and i have to get a new non - B, as they require me to have a new work permit

I will be in Singapore next tues AM to get to the embassey, all my paper work is ready.

But i cannot remember the procedure!, as it has been 2 years since the last time

In singapore

1) How much is the Visa?

2) if i drop of 9 am Tues, when do i get it back

3) Do i need to take anything, or fill anything in there? Pictures?

Sorry if this has already been posted, but i know sometimes things change

Thanks

You do have full company paperwork and receipt for your work permit application? Other than that believe you will need the normal visa application, photos and probably copy of data page of passport - believe fee for single entry is in the 2,000 baht range (payable in Singapore Dollars). If the next day is a workday you should get passport back at about noon I believe (most places it is afternoon).

I just did it myself (Feb 2008)

a.) you get 3 months B Visa at S$ 85.00

b.) Drop it off at 0900 am (-until 1130am) you can pick it up the next day after 1pm.

c.) the forms have to be completed outside. there is a little area to the right of the embassy

with benches and tables. All the forms are there. YES, you need a Photo plus the letter

from your company.

Pretty simple

Excellent

Thanks

This topic worked very well for me as I will be doing this in two weeks....but maybe in Japan.
