Tipping
25k including tips is typical for areas like Sukhumvit, Silom, etc. etc. where staff are tipped reasonably well. In areas where they don't get tips, they just earn their basic salary. This whole thread is about tipping. What's hard to understand? I am not talking about in areas with just Thai customers cos they won't get tips. I certainly didn't say "six 2 hour massages." I said my EX does up to 6 massages a day. There are one hour massages available too, you know. And I said they generally get paid 200 baht per massage - and with a 100 baht tip - they don't need that many to get 25k a month, just 3-4 customers a day, 6 days a week. And yes, it is "typical" for massage staff to work 6 days a week, as with bar staff, and restaurant staff, too. Try working on your basic math and reading comprehension. -

ALL VACCINES WILL KILL YOU - The evidence is overwhelming
Not quite... The claim that independent researchers have unanimously concluded, based on VAERS and EudraVigilance data, that COVID-19 vaccinations should be halted is not supported by the broader scientific consensus. While some groups, such as the World Council for Health, have called for a halt to COVID-19 vaccinations based on their analyses of pharmacovigilance data, these views are not representative of the scientific community at large. The majority of independent researchers and public health authorities continue to support COVID-19 vaccination, emphasising that the benefits outweigh the risks. For instance, the International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities (ICMRA) states that real-world data from billions of administered doses show that vaccines have a very good safety profile. https://www.icmra.info/drupal/en/strategicinitiatives/vaccines/safety_statement Thus, while there are isolated calls for halting COVID-19 vaccinations based on interpretations of VAERS and EudraVigilance data, these are not unanimous among independent researchers. The prevailing scientific consensus supports the continued use of COVID-19 vaccines, recognising their role in preventing severe illness and death. That said - given the publicity, I don't see there being any harm in carrying out independent and impartial investigations. But, if an independent and impartial investigation concluded that vaccines were safe and the Covid-19 vaccines were also safe, would you accept that, or simply double down and claim conspiracy ? -

Report Vietnam Allocates Over VND834 Billion for National Contribution Honorees
File photo for reference only In celebration of significant national milestones, Vietnamese State President Luong Cuong has announced an allocation exceeding VND834 billion (approximately US$32 million) to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the nation. This initiative aligns with the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30, 2025, and the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's founding on September 2, 2025. The tribute will provide monetary gifts of VND500,000 each to individuals who engaged in revolutionary activities before January 1, 1945, leading up to the pivotal August Revolution of that year. The initiative extends to wounded and sick veterans, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and heroes of both the People's Armed Forces and Labor Heroes acknowledged during resistance wars. Additional beneficiaries include those involved in resistance efforts, individuals impacted by Agent Orange/dioxin who are eligible for state support, and former revolutionaries, resistance fighters, and prisoners of war. Family members of fallen soldiers, particularly families with multiple martyrs, and those responsible for maintaining memorial altars for martyrs without surviving relatives, are also recognized. The distribution of these gratitude payments coincides with the national Reunification Day celebrations on April 30. This entire monetary tribute is funded by the central government budget, following a government decree, to ensure that the sacrifices and contributions of these individuals are duly acknowledged and remembered in line with Vietnam's rich history of resilience and unity.
