When entering Thailand through Bangkok Airport, can a Farang spouse of a Thai National go through the Thai Passport section together with his wife?

Not a big issue, but sometimes may save much time!

In Australia, never a problem for the Thai spouse to be processed together with her partner.

Yup, I've never had an issue going through together on entry or exit :D

EDIT Doesn't make the luggage appear any quicker though :o

John, does the immigration officer then ask you to join your wife at the desk, or does he/she first finish processing your wife, she leaves the desk, and then you walk up to the desk?

3 of us passed through together last week I handed over 3 passports: TW, daughter and myself - no problems accept trying to get the iPod out of the teenagers ears whilst the camera scanned her. :o

I even got through with the gf. Got into the falang line, she went to the Thai wicket which was empty. The officer asked if she was alone and gf pointed at me, "boyflen". Immig lady beckoned me over and off I went to envious looks from 25 falangs in the other line. :o

My wife an I always go through together, both in Thailand and in my home country. No problems whatsoever. Funny thing was that she got into my country easier than I did on our last trip.
