Student Or Toutist Visa To Ireland

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry to go over old ground again for you but I've no experience with this business and would very much appreciate if anyone could advise me as how best to get my GF to come to Ireland on a Student visa or otherwise, I was hoping to enlist her in the "Dublin School Of English". She's 28, educated and Her english is excelent, Unfortunately she has never paid tax and currently has a job in a Photo Lab but only for the past 3 months .

I Travel to Thailand about 4 times a year and know her for only 4 months. I am pretty solvent and have my own Business ect and would be happy to sponsor her during her stay in Ireland. Ive been told lately that toutist and Student visas are becoming almost impossible to obtain from Ireland maybe BKK is a little more sympathetic....

TIA Nikkit

Hi Nikkit,

I've just replied to your other thread on the assumption that you're British, so ignore what I said there.

I don't think the Rep. of Ireland has an embassy in Thailand so any visa application your girlfriend makes may have to be made at the embassy in Kuala Lumpur. I'd contact the Ministry of Justice in Ireland and find out what the requirements are for a student visa and where a Thai national has to apply.

Scouse.

Many Thanks for taking the time to reply Scouse, I think the proper name is the Ministry of InJustice!! I'll let you know how I get on.
