Wood Supplier

Featured Replies

Hi, anybody knows where I can find a wood supplier, for constructing cabinets, shelves and the like?

Thanks.

I have a cabinet maker/carpenter staying at my house and helping around. He has been shafted once to many times by Thai clients and is looking for a customer who will pay for the work! (He specialises in building cabinets, bedroom suites, shelving etc.)

If you are interested, PM me with details of where you want the work done etc., and I will put you in touch.

(You will need to front the money for the wood and pay for the work in stages. He speaks no English.)

Hi p1p, thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for the raw materials, as I would like to start on some carpentry projects myself.

I'm hoping to find either local wood or some form of plywood or particle board.

Suksawat would be a good starting place, they have a wide selection. Go east past the Train Station and turn left at the first light, not far past the train station, which is Tung Hotel Road I think. Go straight a few kilometers through the light at the road to Doi Saket. Straight and wind a bit and you will see it on the left. If you go to far you will hit the Super Highway and have to come back half a click. They have another branch not far away with some different stuff. Tawipan and Wood World have some more pricy solid wood but not so much plywood.
