Dud-D company

Bought a big heavy box full of the 200 gram sachets (with the little plastic hanger on top) for a couple of thousand baht in 2006. They worked fine but can't really be refreshed. But at that price, just keep them well wrapped up in plastic and use them as you need them.

2 & half year old topic, and now he replies. ????

He bought them in 2006, so 2,5 years before the topic was even started. I think he just wanted to make sure they were durable before posting.

Just for your information, I bought online a electric silica gel pack which can be dried by plugging it in the 220v socket.

When it is dry it works for about 2 months before I have to dry it again.

Works good to keep my camera equipment dry.

I have absolutely no need for this kind of thing BUT this sounds cool! HA!

If anyone wants silica jell it's pretty easy item to get.

There are small packs available at either Aquamaster in Chalong, and All for Diving in Patong, also I think Dive supply also has the same product.

These are all small sachets made to fit in an Under water camera housing.

Fairly expensive as well.

The easiest way to get them would be to contact your local Chemist / Drug store and as the Pharmacist to save them for you.

All you would need to do is to dry them out again as they will be full of moisture.

15-20 Mins in an Oven at 200 Degrees, or in a Microwave, (lowest setting, and don't let them get too hot or the outside envelope will melt.

Cheers
