Main Water Cut On Koh Pha Ngan, Why?

Featured Replies

What's going on with the main water in Thong Sala. Since 10 days now we haven't water after 10:00 am . When the water come back the day after beetwen 7:30 am and 8 : 00 am :o we have not pressure and the color of water is yellow! :D

Too many pools and gardens to water! :D

That's really a nuisance, especially if you're not informed before about the outage. After some days that makes life utterly miserable! Glad this does hardly happen on the 'big' island anymore.

I hope the best for you! :o

We got the same problem here in the see thanu/haad yoa region it not only a strange color but is stinks like hel_l.

this watershortage problem will only get worse i'll guess the coming yrs

Water, pressure and pipes.

Are you kidding, lol, that are three things in one 'go'!!!

Hope also for rain, no water near thong sala, since 4 days, at all.

Don't complain about the yellow smell. Buy a filter might be an idea...

Better then no water at all.

We bought water two times already!!! :o

My landlord told me yesterday that the water supply in the reservoir is down so next week the supply is going to be cut to between 8am and 12 noon only.

5 days 'raindancing' paid off. finaly got rain and the taps are running.

but no wonder here on phangan.

first we build the houses, shower, toilets, gardens and pools.

and then...ups...

same wiyh the power.

first put a few thousand a/c in the houses and then wondering about...ups...

not enough cables etc.

but we love it, don't we!? :o

Maybe they do it on purpose creating an shortage so they can raise the prices of water

I've to pay my own water bill how can I take care that the government pays my bills

Depends on size of water bill.

Small bills are paid, larger not.

my last bill was 350 baht so is that large or small

Free electricity is also being offered to households which use up to 80 units a month. Electricity bills are halved for those using 81-150 units per month.

And free tap water will be offered to households which use up to 50 cubic metres of water per month.

If you want reliable water supply on KPN: Dig a well and buy a solar powered water pump.
