If you have both passports, utilise both. I.E., going into Thailand, have her go to the Thai National queue with her Thai passport (and mommy!). When returning to Ireland, she stays with you and her Irish passport and goes through the Irish line.

thaihome Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 You will have to show the Irish passport at check in when leaving Thailand in order to show your daughter will be admitted to Ireland without a visa in her Thai passport. When you go through Thai immigration when leaving, just give them the Thai passport. They will probably not question how she is going to get into Ireland. TH
Mossfinn Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 she will have a irish pass port, and a thai pass port,i am british and my wife is thai, Your daughter should use the Irish PP out of Ireland, Thai PP into Thailand. Thai PP out and Irish back into Ireland. You can go through either line, whichever is quickest, as a family they will not question and will probably encourage it. I have done the above, so all works fine. Just remember you will need to carry and show both PP's, so don't stow one away thinking it is not necessary.
