Can the Blog be of a Political nature?

By Political I mean not of Thailand specifically or any reference to the Royal Family of course but of a general nature?

Reason I'm asking is the situation where the Bear Pit was spun off from TV.

Thanks George :o

No. Please use bearpit or other sites for political posts/discussions.

Same rules for blogs as for the forum itself.

Thank god for that!

A spill over of the mindless Bear Pit

"oh yes it is", "oh no it's not"

"oh yes it is", "oh no it's not"

"oh yes it is", "oh no it's not"

.

.

.

.

"oh yes it is", "oh no it's not"

"oh yes it is", "oh no it's not"

"oh yes it is", "oh no it's not"

"oh yes it is", "oh no it's not"

"oh yes it is", "oh no it's not"

ad nauseam,

would soon clog the webserver :o

Stocky~

You obviously didn't find the "Debate Society" your cup of tea during High School? :o

I'm all for rational debate, but if you look at the Bear Pit or similar political fora what you see is seldom rational.

The people who like to participate are fervently attached to one view point or the other; often from ideological extremes. They seldom seem to read each others posts, but just blast away from an entrenched position.

I personally find it tedious, but accept that some, like yourself, get a good deal of enjoyment from it.

i wasn't planning on doing anything George - i just noticed that it said somewhere that blog users could have unlimited space and thought that was a bit strange realizing that of course it would be limited by the size and amount of HDDs on ur servers...

gd move btw :o

What is a Blog?

Somebody said that it was like a diary that people could comment on so why does it say this?

The board administrator has disabled Guest commenting.

This setting will have no effect.

Can't I just start my diary again?

That means if people want to write comments in your blog, they must be logged in.

Go ahead and start your blog!

No, it's not locked. No restrictions on your blog.

Just click on "My Blog" at the top of the forum and start bloggin'.

Okay, done that, but can my two blogs be read by anyone?

...And if they can, can they comment because something there is locked.

Comments are my fuel George, they keep me going.

If nobody's looking there's not much to post.

As far as I'm concerned, you can set it to be private. Guests can't comment. You need to log in to comment. And you can as well lock your entries so no one can comment.
