Fastest net cafes in bkk and pattaya?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what Internet cafes (in both Bangkok and in Pattaya) offer the fastest connection, and would allow me to plug in my laptop via an Ethernet cable?  (I would also need to plug in my VOIP, but I'm sure I could ask about that when I get there).

Hi there,

don't know about the fastest connections in BKK and Pattaya. But connecting to LANs in e-cafes is not a problem. In UdonThani (Isaan) it wasn't a problem. I asked for it and got the answer: If you can manage the settings by yourself you can connect!

So I connected the notebook and had a connection of good quality to get access to the serverfarm back in germany. (Also Terminalserver and METAframe-server!). But I have no experiences with VoIP. Don't know about the bandwidth-requirements. I think, you need much more bandwidth with a higher QoS for VoIP.

Greetings from Berlin!
