Wolfie Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 (edited) There isnt a ping count in game that i have seen, i'm using the age-old approach of using the command promt. if you check out the Warhammer Alliance forums in the Oceanic server subforum there is a thread there that tells you what the Ip addresses are, and yes, it feels a lot more responsive than WoW, performs better, no network lag that i have noticed - my only real complaint so far is i have random client crashes - annoying but not the end of the world Edited September 8, 2008 by Wolfie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The speeds are a joke getting 5kb/sec! been like this for 2 days and tried 3 different ISP's in BKK all the same result. so frustrating at 9gb out of 9.34gb and looks like it will take another 14 hours for the last 340mb...and thats even with a fileplanet subscription! Wolfie was kind enough to burn the client to dvd which I then borrowed from him. I'd be happy to copy the disks for you if you like, as I have to pass the originals on to another forum member. The Collectors Edition Pre-Order (the only one he sells right now) was 3500b - You get to play now with the Open Beta account and the game offically releases later this month (around the 22nd) If you hang on until the end of September, he will probably get some standard edition copies that will be cheaper, but obviously you will have to wait until then. I'm guessing the monthly subs will be $15-20 and they will accept Credit cards, I've always used my Thai card in the past and never had a problem with payments. But yes, Healing is far too chaotic, in random PvP/RvR ive pretty much forgotten about healing, unless its self healing so far Will need to practice group healing, so we will need to get together a lot once it hits retail and learn how to kick ass as a team! I'm pretty sure now I play a Bright Wizard though because my gf can just focus on healing me and assisting wherever she can. While I was a White Lion she lost me a couple of times so I guess I have more fun staying back behind the front line and nuking together with her. Having a healer as a Bright Wizard is also pretty nice because of the combustion mechanic, whenever I hurt myself with my spells she can just put a HoT on me and I will be fine. I guess now we lack some melee / tank classes. But even if we do we should be fine as there are usually other players around. Waaaagh! I googled and tons of people have the same problem, I can play sometimes but most of the time I cant, I bought the CE to play now... very frustrated. For some reason i couldnt play on darklands tonight even though the server status on the main website said it was fine. It just wouldnt let me log on so i ended rolling on another server. This does help for whatever reason. I still get it sometimes but less frequent now. It also helps to wait 2-3 minutes before you retry it. Quicksilva, check the warhammer herald.
