i know many of you have nationwide accounts ,do any of you have problems transfering money online ,i have tried a few computers same problem.

nationwide call centre are about as much use as a choclate spoon.

I have recently opened a Nationwide acc. (UK Building Society)

I tried to set up a transfer just to test it out and as you say, it does not work.

I tried Firefox, Crome and IE browsers with the same result.

I do not really need this function at the moment, but you are right.

When you say it 'didn't work' what exactly do you mean? What happened? You do know that you need a Card Reader to make third party transfers now:

You never actually get that far.

When you click to set up a third party transfer nothing happens.

You never get to see the screen.

i never get as far as having to use the card reader,it seems to just stop at the confirm transaction page,just tried it again after numerous complaints to the call centre who just repeat that there is nothing wrong.

i rang my daughter in britain and got her to try ,giving her my passcodes ect and it all works there ,but drfinatly not here in thailand.

oops... I will never again read a post while making a phone call... now I got it :D

I had this problem a while ago and have a another friend who has it now. I fixed it by changing the MTU value in my modem/router to 1400, there are a couple of threads in this forum about it.

with the help of my 14 year old son(thank god for 14yr olds) just changed it to 1400 and ,"it works ,yipee" thanks for your help. :o

I have dug this up again as I also had problems and changed the MTU value as everyone else has done.

It was successful and worked ok.

However recently I find I can no longer send messages again. Anyone else having new problems with this?
